POSITION TITLE

 

District-wide Temporary Clerical Worker—District-wide

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  2. Must possess a valid Arizona State Driver’s License.
  3. Must possess a valid Arizona State Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  4. Secretarial training and/or experience required.
  5. Must have ability to maintain and report data.
  6. Must be computer literate.
  7. Must possess strong communications skills.
  8. Must possess excellent public and human relations skills.
  9. Ability to work without close supervision.
  10. Must exhibit good health.

REPORTS TO

 

Building or Department Administrator of Assignment

 

JOB GOAL

 

To assist in the smooth and effective operation of the department, and positively impact the educational process and programs of the District.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Greets and assists all visitors and staff with courtesy.
  2. Maintains confidentiality of all matters pertaining to students, parents, and staff.
  3. Organizes and distributes incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  4. Maintains up-to-date and accurate recordkeeping system and files.
  5. Collects and enters data into appropriate files and reports.
  6. Orders and maintains supplies.
  7. Prepares materials for workshops and meetings.
  8. Performs other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

 

On call temporary (timesheet) basis and dependent upon availability of funds at Grade 1, Step 1.   The Governing Board will establish salary and work year.
